Mixture - When two or more substances are mixed physically in any variable proportion in such a way that they retain their individual properties is called a mixture.

Air is made up of many different gases in variable compositions, and each gas in the air shows its respective properties, hence the air is a mixture.

2. Oxygen - 21%
3. Carbon dioxide - 0.04%
4. Noble gases - 0.9%
5. Water vapours - variable
