Solution

Dear Student,

Let the original constant speed of walking = x m/minTime taken to reach the school = 30 minDistance of the school = speed × time = x × 30 = 30x mNow, new speed = 35 of x m/min = 3x5 m/minDistance to be travelled = 30x mTime taken with new speed = DistanceSpeed = 30x3x/5 = 50 minSo, Akash will take 20 more minutes to reach the school with new speed.
