Solution

The correct option is A 1 only
Student who went for shopping =80100

Student who went for a movie =80100
Student who went for shopping =50100

Thus, n(M)=80100

n(S)=50100

Took rest =10100

n(MS)=110100=90100

Thus, n(MS)=n(A)+n(B)n(AB)

Student who went for both =n(M)+n(S)n(MS)

=80100+5010090100

=40100

=40%

Student who went for only shopping,
n(S only)=n(S)+n(MS)

=5010040100

=10100
=10%

Hence, only statement 1 is correct.
Thus, A is correct option.
