Solution

Let money Ruchi has be Rs.x
Sindhu has money be Rs.2x

Now, amount spent by Ruchi for shopping is Rs. 60.

remaining amount with Ruchi =Rs. (x60).

Amount spent by Sindhu for shopping is Rs. 210.

remaining amount with Sindhu =Rs. (2x210).

It is given that, after shopping, both of them have the same amount.
2x210=x60

2xx=21060

x=150

2x=2×150=300
Therefore, at the beginning,

Ruchi had Rs. 150 and Sindhu had Rs. 300.
