Solution

Let Sindhu have total amount at the beginning = x

And

Ruchi have total amount at the beginning = y

Now according to first condition , we get

x = 2y -------------------------- ( 1 )

Now we Ruchi spent Rs 60 and Sindhu spent Rs. 210 and remaining ammount is same , SO

x - 210 = y - 60

2y - 210 = y - 60 ( From equation 1 x = 2y )

y = 150 , Substitute that value in equation 1 and get

x = 2 ( 150 )

x = 300

So,
At the beginning Ruchi had total amount = Rs . 150
And
Sindhu had total amount= Rs , 300
