Solution

Let initial money he have = x

After going to first temple money doubles and donates rs 200
Therefore Money he has left. => 2x - 200
After going to second temple money doubles and donates rs 200
Therefore Money left => 2(2x - 200) - 200
=> 4x - 600
After going to Third temple money doubles and donates rs 200
Therefore Money left => 2(4x -600) - 200
=> 8x - 1400
After going to Fourth temple money doubles and donates rs 200
Therefore Money left =>2(8x - 1400) - 200
=> 16x - 3000
After going to Fifth temple money doubles and donates rs 200 and his balance becomes 0
Therefore Money left is zero => 2(16x - 3000) - 200 = 0
32x - 6200 = 0
x = 6200/32
x = 193.75
Therefore Money he initialy had = Rs. 193.75
