Solution

The correct option is B 10:3
Let the number of sweets Amrit, Ajay and Sudhanshu have (after Amrit gives half his sweets to Ajay) be x,y, and z respectively.
number of sweets Amrit havenumber of sweets Ajay have=23 ..... (Given)
yy+x2=23
y=14x ..... (i)
Given that, sudhansu has one-fifth as many sweets as Ajay
number of sweets Sudhanshu have = number of sweets Ajay have
z=15(y+x2)
z=15(x4+x2)
z=15(3x4)

x2z=103
Hence, ratio of the number of sweets Amrit has to the number of sweets sudhansu has is 10:3.
