An aeronautical engineer observed that on the upper and lower surfaces of the wings of an aeroplane, the speed of the air are $90m/s$ & $72m/s$ respectively. What is the left on the wing if its area is $3.2m^2$ density of air is $0.29kg/m^3$

The pressure difference is given as,

$\Delta P=\frac{1}{2}\rho \left({V_2}^2-{V_1}^2\right)$

$\Delta P=\frac{1}{2}\times 0.29\left({\left(90\right)}^2-{\left(72\right)}^2\right)$

$\Delta P=422.82N/m^2$

The lift on the wing is given as,

$F=\Delta P\times A$

$F=422.82\times 3.2$

$F=1353.024N$
