An apple cost $₹ R .$ A mango costs $₹ 1$ more than an apple $.$ Find the total cost of $8$ mangoes in terms of $R .$

It is given that an apple cost $=$ $₹ R .$
Then one mango cost will be $= 1 + R$
Total cost of $8$ mangoes $= 8 (1 + R)$
$= 8 + 8 R$
Hence, the total $8$ mangoes costs $₹ 8 + 8 R$
