An electric bulb is connected to a cell through a switch as shown in Fig. When the switch is brought to ‘ON’ position, the bulb does not glow. What could be the possible reason/s for it? Mention any two of them.
When electric current is passed through the bulb, it should glow. If it does not glow, the possible reason could be:
(i) The bulb may be fused.
(ii) The cell may be discharged.
(iii) Break in the connecting wire.
(iv) Loose connections in the circuit.
