The correct option is C π2
The relation between phase difference (Δϕ) and path difference (Δx) is
Δϕ=2πλ×Δx

In a medium different from from vaccum,
Δϕ=2πλ×Δx
If λ=λμ,Δϕ=2πλ×(μΔx)
Here, μΔx is called the path length of light in the medium.


In this question,
Total optical path length =μ1×2.25λ0+μ2×3.5λ0+μ3×3λ0 (given μ=1)
=1×2.25λ0+2×3.5λ0+3×3λ0
=18.25λ0
Therefore phase difference between P and Q
=2πλ0×18.25λ0
=18×2π+0.25×2π
=0.5π=π2
(because nπ+ϕ=ϕ)
