The correct option is A 24.038 cm

Here, base and altitude of the triangle is 17 cm each.
Let the hypotaneous of triangle be x cm.
Now, applying Pythagoras theorem,
x2=172+172
x2=2×(17)2
(taking square root on both side)
x=172
x=17×1.414
x=24.038 cm

Hence, option(a) correct.
