Given, acceleration a=2 ms2, initial velocity u=0 ms1 and time t=2 s.

Let distance travelled be s.

We use second equation of motion, s=ut+12at2.

So, s=0×2+122×22

On soving we get s=4 m

Therefore, distance travelled by it in 2 s is 4 m.
