Solution

Step 1: Given

Mirror is concave.

Height of the object, ho=10cm

Object distance, u=150cm

Radius of curvature, R=2m=200cm

Focal length, f=R2=100cm

Image distance,v

Image height, hi

Step 2: Formula used

Mirror formula

1f=1v+1u

Magnification

m=hiho=vu

Step 3: Calculation

Using mirror formula

1f=1v+1u

1100=1v+1150

1v=1100+1150

1v=1300

v=300cm

Now, using magnification formula

m=vu

m=300150

hiho=3

hi=3×10

hi=30cm

So,

Image height is 30cm.

Image is formed at 300 cm in front of mirror.

Image is real and inverted.
