An organic compound (A) with molecular formula C3H5N on boiling with an alkali gives ammonia and sodium salt of an acid (B) with molecular formula C3H6O2. On reduction, (A) gives compound (C) with molecular formula C3H9N which on treatment with nitrous acid gives a compound (D). Identify (A), (B), (C) and (D). Write all the reactions.

The reaction sequence would be as follows:
CH3CH2CN​(A) + NaOH → CH3CH2COONa(B) + NH3
​CH3CH2CN​(A) + Reduction → CH3CH2CH2NH2(C)
CH3CH2CH2NH2(C) + HNO2​ → CH3CH2CH2OH(D)
