Calculate:
(a) its empirical formula, (b) its molecular formula.

(a) its empirical formula =CHO subscript 2
(b)empirical formula mass = 45
vapour density = 45
so molecular mass=VD × 2 = 90
so molecular formula C subscript 2 H subscript 2 O subscript 4
