Anmol has a chart paper of measures 90 cm × 40 cm, whereas Abhishek has one which measures 50 cm × 70 cm. Which will cover more area on the table and by how much?

Given,
Anmol's chart paper size = 90 cm × 40 cm
Let length = 90 cm and breadth = 40 cm

Therefore, Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth = 90 cm × 40 cm = 3600 sq cm

Similarly, Abhishek's chart paper size = 50 cm × 70 cm
Here, let length = 50 cm and breadth = 70 cm

Therefore, Area of rectangle = 50 cm × 70 cm = 3500 sq cm

Difference in area = 3600 sq cm - 3500 sq cm = 100 sq cm

Hence, Anmol's chart paper will cover more area on the table.
