Allotropy :
The phenomenon of existence of a chemical element in two or more forms differing in physical properties but having almost the same chemical nature is known as allotropy.
These different forms are called allotropes.
They possess different physical properties but similar chemical properties. Hence can be separated on the basis of physical properties easily.
Examples Diamond, Graphite, and Fullerene.
