How did Mrs. Pumphrey spoil Tricki?

Tricki was royally spoilt and lived a luxurious life. He was given food three times a day and extras in between the meals. Mrs. Pumphrey did not even make him do exercise. Mrs. Pumphrey had a day bed and a night bed for Tricki along with his favourite cushions, toys and rubber bands. She always overpampered him.
