Solution

For reducing fever, antibiotics are not taken. We take paracetamol which is not an antibiotic.
Antibiotics are chemicals that we extract from one microbe and harmful for the gwoth of other microbes.
So only those which are extracted from a microbe and used as medicine are called antibiotics.
Antibiotics control only bacterial diseases by stopping a vital process going on thier body.
Since viruses do not have any vital processes going on in their body, destroying viruses by antibiotics is impossible.
Only symptoms are treated in viral diseases. Our body immune system wil only control viruses as such.
