In alkane single bonds are present and that is the functional group. Ex ., Ethane CH_​3-CH₃
In alkene = bonds are present and that is the functional group. Ex., Ethylene CH₂ = CH_​2
In alkyne triple bonds are present and that is the functional group. Ex., Ethyne $CH\equiv CH$​
So the single bond, double bond and triple bond are functional group not alkane, alkene and alkyne
