Solution

The Coringo ecosystem is formed at the confluence of the Gowthami-Godavari river with the Bay of Bengal. It is an estuarine ecosystem and consists of mangrove swamps. Since the sea and freshwater meet in this region there are periodic tides which bring rich nutrients. The Coringa wildlife Sanctuary is located in this area and it supports a variety of flora and fauna.
