Area of a trapezium is 160 sq cm and the height is 10 cm . Find the sum of its two parallel sides.

We know,
Area of trapezium $=\frac{1}{2}\times \text{Height}\times \text{Sum of parallel sides}$
$\Rightarrow \text{Sum of parallel sides}=\frac{2\times \text{Area of trapezium}}{Height}$
$\Rightarrow \text{Sum of parallel sides}=\frac{2\times 160}{10}=32cm$
