Consider they both have started from point zero on the number line and each step is 1 unit.


Arghya first moves 10 steps to her right and then from there she moves 5 steps to her left and hence reaches 5 on the number line.

Anagha first moves 5 steps to her left and then from there she moves 10 steps to her right and so reaches 5 on the number line.

So, finally they both reach the same point and the distance between them is zero.
