Solution

The correct option is D III→ II→ IV→ I
Ovaries are the female gonads (primary reproductive organs). It is composed of several layers of tissues.

Animal body is composed basically of four types of tissues- epithelial tissues, connective tissues, neural tissues, and muscle tissues. Epithelial tissues are commonly referred to as epithelium and consist of a large sheet of cells covering all body surfaces. They form the lining of the hollow organs- like the reproductive organs.

The outermost layer of ovary is called germinal epithelium and is made up of cuboidal epithelium.

Inner to the germinal epithelium, lies the tunica albuginea layer, which is made up of connective tissues.

Inner to the tunica albuginea, lies the ovarian cortex. It consists of ovarian follicles surrounded by dense, irregular connective tissues.

Inner to the cortex, lies the ovarian medulla. It is the innermost layer. It consists of more loosely arranged connective tissues and contains blood vessels, lymphatic vessels and nerves.

So, the ovarian layers arranged from inside to outside will be ovarian medulla→ ovarian cortex→ tunica albuginea→ germinal epithelium.
