$\frac{2}{3}\times \frac{12}{12}$= $\frac{24}{36}$
$\frac{4}{12}\times \frac{3}{3}$= $\frac{12}{36}$
$\frac{5}{6}\times \frac{6}{6}$= $\frac{30}{36}$
now since the denominators are same, we can compare the numerators to arrange them in ascending order
so,
$\frac{12}{36}$ <$\frac{16}{36}$<$\frac{24}{36}$<$\frac{30}{36}$
or
$\frac{4}{12}$ <$\frac{4}{9}$ <$\frac{2}{3}$ <$\frac{5}{6}$
