Solution

The correct option is A 14, 42

Let no. of fifty paise coins be x and

no. of one Rupee coins be y

then x=3y ------------- eq 1

According to question,
0.50×x+1×y=35
0.5x+y=35
0.5×3y+y=35 [From eq 1]
1.5y+y=35
2.5y=35
y=352.5
y=14

So, x=3y
=3×14
=42

Therefore no.of fifty paise coins is 42 and no. of one rupee coin is 14.
