Solution

Total number of newspapers = 232

Number of English newspapers = 128

Number of Hindi newspapers = 232-128

= 104

The ratio of the number of English newspapers to the number of Hindi newspapers = numberofEnglishnewspapernumberofHindinewspapers

= 128104

= 2×2×2×2×2×2×22×2×2×13

= 1613

= 16:13

Hence, the ratio of the number of English newspapers to the number of Hindi newspapers 16:13.
