The correct option is B Both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation for assertion.
Virtual images can not be obtained on screen because they are not formed by real intersection of light rays. Only real images can be obtained on a screen.

A plane mirror always forms a virtual images of an object. When two plane mirrors are placed parallel, then $\infty$ number of images are formed.
$∴$ Assertion and reason are correct but reason is not an explanation of assertion.
