If the side of an equilateral triangle is ‘a’ then by Heron’s formula:

Area of the triangle

=32a(32aa)(32aa)(32aa)

=32a×a2×a2×a2=34a2

Where 32a is the semi - perimeter of the triangle.

If height of an equilateral triangle be h,

Then, 12×a×h=34a2

h=32a
