Greenhouse gases are necessary to keep the atmosphere on earth warm. These gases absorb the solar radiations that are transparent and thus increase the temperature of the earth. These include Carbon dioxide (60%), methane (20%) and chlorofluorocarbons (14%) and nitrous oxide (6%).
So, both the given statements are wrong and option D is the correct option.
