The zygote of Ascaris develops into the larval stage by cleavage under suitable conditions of temperature, moisture and oxygen. The larva of the Ascaris is known as rhabditiform larva. It further develops into the second stage of larva, which is ineffective. When it reaches the liver as man eats the eggs of Ascaris from contaminated food and water, it develops into 3rd and 4th larva subsequently which is the effective stage and thus causes ascariasis. Hence, option B is correct.
