Insects visit plants to gather honey. In turn the plants are benefited by the insects because they help in pollination of the plant. When insects are visiting the flowers for sucking nectar the pollen grains gets attached to their body. When the same insect visits another flower, the pollen is deposited in the style or stigma, the female reproductive parts of the flower, and cause the fertilization to take place. This method of pollination is called as enotmophily, where insects are the pollinators.
