KBr is a strong electrolyte as it gets almost completely dissociated in aqueous solution. A strong electrolyte is one that undergoes complete dissociation in the solution and a weak electrolyte is one that undergoes partial dissociation.

Strong electrolytes are good conductors of electricity and weak electrolytes are weak conductors of electricity. Potassium bromide is soluble in water and releases a K+ ion and a Br ion.
