Solution

The correct option is A Both Assertion and Reason are correct and Reason is the correct explanation for Assertion.
Abnormally high values of molar conductivities of H+ and OH ions in water is due to Grotthus conductance which is explained on the basis of a proton jump from one water molecule to other.

It is is also noticed for NH4+ and NH2 as their ionic molar conductivity in liquor NH3 is abnormally higher than other cations or anions in liquor NH3.

Thus, in these solvents, the charge moves throughout the solution, but the ions do not move that much distance as the ions move only from one solvent molecule to adjacent solvent molecule.

This results in higher conductivity.
