The intensity of the incident light corresponds to the number of photons of light that fall per unit area in unit time. This has nothing to do with the energy of the incident light which determines the kinetic energy of the photoelectrons ejected.
Higher is the intensity of the incident light, higher will be the rate of emission as more number of photons of incident light will strike per unit time.
Hence, the reason that "Increase in intensity of incident light increases the rate of emission" is correct.
But the assertion that "The kinetic energy of the photo electron ejected increases with increase in intensity of incident light" is incorrect.
