  1. Bacteria are prokaryotes. They are unicellular organisms that lack a true nucleus and membrane-bound cell organelles.
  2. Bacteria causes several diseases such as tetanus, cholera, pneumonia, etc.
  3. Most of the disease-causing bacteria grow at 5-60°C.
  4. A temperature below 5°C causes a decrease in bacterial growth, whereas, bacteria fail to divide at temperatures above 60°C.
  5. Most bacteria die at 65°C. The bacterial proteins undergo denaturation at high temperatures.
