At what temperature the reading on Kelvin scale is three times that on Celsius scale
We know,
k−273=C
Divide the equation by 100
(K−273)100=(C−0)100
According to question ,
K=3C
so,
(3C−273)100=C100
3C−273=C
2C=273
C=136.5°C
⇒136.5×3=409.5
⇒136.5oC+273=409.5K
∴ The temperature of the reading on the Kelvin scale is three times that on the Celcius scale at 136.5 0C or 409.5K.
