What quantity of wheat can be purchased in Rs 61?

Quantity of wheat that can be purchased from Rs 30.50 = 5kg

Applying unitary method, where firstly we find the value of one unit and then the value of required number of units.

$\therefore$ From Rs 1, quantity of wheat that can be purchased = $\frac{5}{30.50}$kg

$\therefore$ From Rs 61, quantity of wheat that can be purchased

= $\frac{5}{30.50}\times 61$ = $\frac{5}{3050}\times 61\times 100$kg [multiplying numerator and denominator by 100]

= 10kg

Thus, we can purchase 10kg wheat from Rs 61
