(b) What is meant by 'secondary sexual characteristics’ in humans? Explain with the help of two examples.​

The sexual characteristics controlled by hormones which distinguish between sexually mature males and females but are not directly involved in reproduction, are called secondary sexual characteristics.​​
For example hair growth on face in the form of moustache and beard in boys, broad shoulders and chest in boys, development of breast in girls, broadening of hip are some of the secondary sexual; characteristics that helps us distinguish between a mature boy and girl. ​
