In order to find the solution, subtract $3pq+5p^2{q}^2+p^3$ from $p^3+2p^2{q}^2+4pq.$
Required expression is
$p^3+2p^2{q}^2+4pq-(3pq+5p^2{q}^2+p^3)=p^3+2p^2{q}^2+4pq-3pq-5p^2{q}^2-p^3$
On combining the like terms.
$=p^3-p^3+2p^2{q}^2-5p^2{q}^2+4pq-3pq=-3p^2{q}^2+pq$
So, if we add $-3p^2{q}^2+pq$ in $3p{q}^2+5p^2{q}^2+p^3$, we get $p^3+2p^2{q}^2+4pq$
