ma=10 kg,ua=6 m/s
mb=50 kg,ub=0 m/s
Let velocity of ma is va after elastic collision.
va=(mambma+mb)ua+2mbubma+mb
=(105010+50)6+2×50×010+50 =4 m/s

The ratio of initial and final kinetic energies of block A is given by,
K.EiK.Ef=12mu2a12mv2a=12m×6212m×(4)2=3616=94
Hence the correct option is (a).
