Beenu wants to make gift bags for a birthday party. Each gift bag requires half a metre of cotton cloth and a quarter metre of decorative cloth and 10 cm of ribbon. If she wants to make 6 gift bags, how many meters of cloth does she need altogether?

Length of cotton cloth= Half of a metre= 50 cm
Length of decorative cloth= Quarter of a meter= 25 cm
Length of a ribbon= 10 cm

Total length of the cloth used in 1 bag= 50 cm+25 cm+10 cm
=85 cm

Length of cloth required for 6 bags= 85 cm × 6= 510 cm
