Solution

Solution:
Cost of 1 pen = ₹10
Cost of 5 pens = ₹10 × 5 = ₹50 (0.5 marks)

Cost of 1 notebook = ₹50 + ₹10 = ₹60
(0.5 marks)

Cost of 2 notebooks = ₹60 × 2 = ₹120
Cost of 3 pens = ₹10 × 3 = ₹30 ( 0.5×2 marks )

Total amount to be paid by the customer = ₹ 120 + ₹30 = ₹150
(1 mark)
