Binary fission is a type of asexual mode of reproduction. It is most commonly found in prokaryotes and single-celled eukaryotes. In this method, after replicating the genome, the cell divides into two equal daughter cells. Amoeba is single-celled which reproduces asexually by the means of binary fission.
