Breadth of the box $= 15 c m$
Height of the box $= 10 c m$
Total Surface area $= 2 (l b + b h + l h)$
$= 2 (20 \times 15 + 15 \times 10 + 10 \times 20)$
$= 2 (300 + 150 + 200) = 2 \times 650 = 1300 s q . c m$
Area of the lid $= l e n g t h \times b r e a d t h = 20 \times 15 = 300 s q . c m$
Area of the box without lid $= 1300 - 300 = 1000 s q . c m$
