The correct option is A 0.85 ms2

Limiting friction between A and B fL=μN=0.4×100=40 N
(a) Both the blocks will have a tendency to move together with same acceleration (say a). So, the free body diagram is as shown.
Equations of motion are,
30f=10×a....(i)
f=25×a......(ii)
solving these two equations, we get
a=0.857 m/s2and f=21.42 N
As this force is less than fL, both the blocks will moves together with same acceleration,
aA=aB=0.857 m/s2
