A cellulosic cell wall is a characteristic of plant cell only. Plant cells also contain plastids (green plastids are called chloroplast). Plastids are absent in animal cells. Lysosomes are present only in animal cells. Protoplasm is the living part of a cell and is present in every living cell, be it plant or animal. Protoplasm includes cytoplasm, nucleus and plasma membrane but does not include cell wall.
