Paleolithic age is also called as old stone age.It is a prehistoric period of human history where the use of very simple or primitive stone tools was made. It covers the phase of human history from about 2.6 million years ago to about 10,000 years ago where as Neolithic also called as new stone age was the last stone age period and was marked by the development of agriculture. It lasted from about 5000 BC to 2500 BC and ended with the development of metal tools.
