The curd is formed by adding bacteria such as lactobacillus.

The dough is formed by fermentation caused by bacteria which is used to make bread.

Toddy is made by fermentation of sap from palm trees by bacteria.

Cheese is made by partial degradation of milk using different microbes.

Microbes are also used to ferment fish, soybean etc.
